The most commonly used stone is limestone. It is very durable and takes on an ageless quality over time. For each project the materials are hand selected, using only the best stone available. The individual stones are hand shaped and carefully placed creating a random pattern with close joints. The completed effect is one of beauty and a sense it has been there forever.

The flagstone can be laid on a concrete base or crushed stone base. For each project we will discuss your preference but also advise on the most appropriate application for your specific project and situation. The joints on a concrete base will be filled with mortar, while stones laid on a crushed stone base can be filled with polymeric dust, or earth that can then be planted with mosses or low growing plants.
